Authentic Songwriter
My name is Angel Scott, born and raised in Richmond, VA but currently living in Atlanta, Ga. I’m a 35 year old songwriter born Dec. 25, 1983. I started writing songs when I was 12 years old. At 18, I started preforming in different states. I became a mother at 20, and within the next 8 months i lost my mother and father. So at 22 I moved to NewYork where I fell on hard times. During the next 7 years of my life I discovered my true songwriting ability. I started on a catalog that is now 400 songs and counting that includes gospel, r&b, pop with soul, rap hooks, and inspirational music. I’ve written for independent artists all over the country, and a few have gotten noticed by major labels because of the songs I’ve written. I’ve also started my own publishing company name “Zarephath Publishing LLC” Far as the music business goes, and I know I have a lot to learn and plenty to accomplish, but I am prepared now. I’m a songwriter that understands human emotions, and I know how to write it in a way that anyone can feel it. I have an old soul when it comes to music, but I was born in the hip hop era so my music has flow! I am ready to help artists bring emotion back to music that sells, instead of only talking about money and sex. I’m bringing that old thing back, in a new kind of way!
